The shot is about 2 minutes 18 seconds in.

It is ALOT of geese and worth watching the whole 10 minutes.

You notice he shoots, then is about to shoot his second shot and I shoot and you see the goose drop and then he shoots his second shot. I suppose it took that goose about 2 seconds to realize it was shot by his first shot.
Yesterday I killed 5, Seth killed 2 and Dave got 2.

She isn't as friendly as his neighbor when it comes to dead animals. That tree in his front yard still works.

Congrats on the geese. There was one flock that seemed to come by real close that I can't figure out why yall didn't shoot into them.

Oh yeah if yall would have killed that sick goose next to yall making all that racket then them geese would have prolly landed on top of yall.

There were at least 3 groups we coulda shot into in that video. SOMEONE wanted to wait and let them land.
So when we went Monday morning I sent him to go park the truck so me and Seth could open up on the first group that came over before he could get back!
On that video, we shot into the first group and got one. Then they came from every direction all at once. We had 120 geese all over us and as I mentioned SOMEONE wanted to let them land.

When they all come at once all you can do is hope they land. Do you not watch Shawn Stahl on RNT-V

Did you see the show a few weeks back when ALL the geese got bumped off the refuge and they let THOUSANDS land on em and he sent Deuce out to booger them and hoped they'd come back in smaller groups.

It is like having a HUGE bunch of green heads come into the timber. You can shoot and kill a few but you are educating ALOT of birds when you do.

Stay with me folks and I'll get you thru the season.

WHAT SICK GOOSE!!!!!!!!!!
You calling Scooby Doo sick!!!!!!!

Oh, Lordy! What has happened to this generation of waterfowl hunters>

Back in the day, everyone picked out that old father goose at the point of the wedge for the first shot. Put him down, and it takes a long time for the others to get "educated."

Boys, when you can take the shot, you better do it 'cause it ain't conservation you are practicing on them honking, crapping birds! It's killin' time.

Well we never got to hunt with Moses or the Great Caesar himself.

We are alot wiser and have better words for things than POINT OF THE WEDGE and OLD FATHER GOOSE We have folks like Fred Zink and Kelly Powers and Shawn Stahl to lead us into the next Millenium.

Yeah, and on a slow day they'd sky bust and shoot the Hades out of groups of edging birds just like the rest of us mortals.

Oh, BTW, give yourself a wedgie and blame it on me: Ye Old-time Waterfowl Prophet who once shared a blind with Dr. John "Pud" Riser and master goose caller Jimmy Espinoza at Dollarhide Hunt Club's famous Seven Swan Field (1975)...

And who singlehandedly called in a bull snow goose leading a flight of 100+ birds, one of which when shot dropped straight
through the roof of a canebrake blind at the Choctaw Bend Club (1977), breaking a half-full bottle of Old Crow and causing Thompson "Man" Linderman to back through the wall and fall in the icy slough.

To this day, there's a photo of a handsome and slender youth with sideburns holding the offending goose in one hand and his trusty Model 12 16-gauge in the other.

And let me tell you how tough we were in those days!

We didn't use waders. We stripped off naked from the waist down and stood in the freezing water up to our hips. It made us mean and few if any geese got away.

That's back when the word "floppage" meant you were chasing down a cripple on the mud flats.

wedgie won't hurt me!!!! The asshasrotted outta my drawers long ago old man! All I got on is a waste band and 3 leg holes so they are still knocking my knees no matter how hard you pull.

Them old codgers names don't mean nothing. They were in the hayday of waterfowling when all you needed was a levee to lay on and a piece of wood with a hole in it to grunt thru and a hole of water for your live decoy.

I have battled the mighty duck, canada goose, speck, and snow with some of the best God ever put on this earth. Here in the day when they are few and far between and a man will do what he has to do to kill one whether it be crawlin or callin.

I have stood toe to toe with Milton Armstrong III, The Harris brothers from Tyronza and Marked Tree, A fat bastard I only knew at Teddy who worked at the budweiser plant in Jonesboro. I have hunted the cotton field near Wappanocca, slipped over the leveee onto the OK club in Grubbs, been run off by the WIlfongs' on the Cache, shot at in Bayou Deview for having TN license plates on my truck and YA I HAVE EVEN HUNTED WITH LONNIE AND TONKA!!!!!

I have been on the Estes Lane Hunt CLub, been to the Burn, Lil Mud, Blue Hole, Roney pond, Bee Tree hole, Whale Pond, Otter Slough, Heathrights both North and south holes, Champion and even the infamous Union COunty Black hole in Illinois.

The names in the waterfowling fields of west Tn and NE Ark and SEMO will forever echo the names of Sonny Connell, Navaho Shannon, Craig Harris, Loud Mouth Bill, Hamburger, Raspberry Brandy Herb, Rodney Schmiede, Mark Leet, Beer Can Bernie, Jug Leet, and Brad Lindley!! When we pull into the parking lot they know we mean biniz and all but Denali Dave gives us the proper nod.

We shoot mergansers, spoonies, jacks and even the occasssional coot on a slow day.

So bend over and reach down on the floor and pick up your nards and hold em high old man and give yourself a wedgie for me!

Done... and it's a masterpiece!

Twenty pages of hilarity about a duck hunter who wears green leotards and a Robin Hood hat, sleeps in bed with other men and runs a gay guide service.

I call it: "Whistling Wings Over the Homo Hole."

Nash Buckingham would be mortified.

Outdoor life has rejected it already but I am sure Tennessee Hunting & Fishing doesn't have those high standards. If they do, I guess it will have to be published in JustUsBoys magazine.
